i need to open some ports, how can i do it?


hello everybody, I am running redhat 9 and i need to open some ports so i can play some games online, i know i have opened ports 80 and 21 when i installed redhat for my web and ftp servers, but know i have no idea how to open more ports.

I think this problem has something to do with my iptables but im not sure. I still consider myself a complete

can someone help me please


Extra info
my redhat firewall was set to "high security"

As root try this:

redhat-config-securitylevel

you can do it via iptables (read documentation) or run: redhat-config-securitylevel (gui, need X)
