hi everybody

i want install evms-2.5.2 in gentoo-2.6.12

but i got some serious problems

firstly: i can not find the dm_mod ,and i emerge hotplug,then i work it out ,but i found the dm_mod can not autoload and i had to modprobe

secondly: there is only a directory /dm in the /dev/evms
and i can only find a control file in the /dm directory
i can not find any disk or volume in the /dev/evms

so i can not creat anything by evms

can anybody help me?

i did something right like:
dmsetup targets
dmsetup mknodes

then the dm_mod can autoload

but i still can not see more thing in the directory /dev/evms except dm

and more, i got this error:
