Question i need quicktime to play some file

i have xine preinstall in slackware is there a way to play quicktime with xine, if not then what should i do

Not sure about xine if plugins work with it. I use mplayer. It has played everthing I had put to it (fli, wmv,avi,mpg,, as long as you have the codecs for the file type. Then add the mplayer plugin for mozilla/firefox. This is what the mplayer plugin can play if you have all the codecs
