I need more then one language on more then one user

OKAY, heres the thing! I'm an english speaking latin american and my gf is an english speaking Japanese girl. The problem is I made a partition on her computer for her parents to use. HER PARENTS ONLY SPEAK JAPANESE!! So the problem is this I installed fedora 1 and it looks nice in japanese, but as root user I want to be able to read it in english. Her parents also told me that in windows they were able to type in japanese characters from an regular american keyboard. Someone please help!!! If I can do this lots of gf action will insue!

Did you install English and Japanese? You should be able to select language for each user at login. If you mean open xterm while folks are logged in and su - and get english, I'm not sure about that.

As for keyboard mapping, not sure on that but I'm sure it can be done!

If you don't see language on the login screen, run gdmconfig and select bluecurve, I know that one has it.
