Question I need help regarding offline installation of a driver

I got a new laptop and the wireless doesn't work with Linux. The driver I need to install is located here.

Problem: it only gives the git cloning instructions which I can't use b/c my laptop has no Internet connection. I have to download the zip file from another computer and move it over to the laptop, but there are no instructions on installing via zip file.

Does anyone know how I'm supposed to install this driver from the zip file?

so I am guessing you're needing a tar.gz? convert it to a tar.gz then go into figure out mode on how to get that into your system via perhaps a usb stick.

if you are using Windows then look up how to convert zip to whatever format you need using Windows.

Apparently all I had to do was download the zip file, extract it, run Make and install the driver.
