I think that the JBoss jBPM product is worth taking a look at. I have not actually used it but we have been using JBoss and are very happy with it. After looking over the jBPM specs and documentation a bit I am considering it for workflow applications. We really want a product that will be a hand-in-glove fit with JBoss.

The license is LGPL. One sub-project, jBPM BPEL, is licensed under the CPL.

You can download the source code here: http://www.jboss.org/jbossjbpm/jbpm_downloads/

You can also purchase a support subscription from Red Hat if you want or need to go that route. But you certainly do not have to.

hi
can i use all jboss applications together?
where as separated JBPM is very simple i think that it must be bundled in JBOSS portal. is it possible? ( such as uengine that combined with liferay portal.)
on the other hand it seems that JPD module us very simple. and hasn't capabilities of intalio process designer. is it possible to use intalio designer instead of Jboss process designer?
thanks for your help

Liferay open source portal

Check out my Liferay demo website at http://www.becomingconscious.info/web/guest/home. Feel free to create an account and play with the features. Let me know if there is something you would like access to that isn't in your current permissions.

Thanks,
John
