I need a gaim like app

I like gAIM but resently its just giving me a headache with it always erroring out, it not letting me direct connect, and not connecting to yahoo chat all the time.
So i want to know is there a mulit chat service app. That works simular to aim.

That's what I'm using as MSN client.. Works great!!

You know, haha there was once this program I had for winders xp (xtremely poor) and it was called GlobalIM, it was very similar to GAIM...
