I made a shortcut to a shell script and it is using default shell icon...

And how can i change default icon to that which i want to use a different icon ?(i.e when windows using we can do that right click to shortcut, than click properties and change the icon to a different) Thanks for now...

er do the same thing? right click. properties. The click on the icon image and you can change it.

in future please provide more information. I am only assuming you are using KDE. but you might be using gnome or something else. So at least knowing your window manager would make the question far easier to answer.

Right click icon , press edit file type button and see upper left corner file icon it is pressable(at this point i didnt care before) than sellect one icon which you want to use it..
