[SOLVED] I launch a game in Mednaffe and it closes as soon as I hit a keyboard key or joypad button.

Hi.

I reinstalled mednafen & mednaffe. Made no difference.

I renamed the .config/mednaffe file to .config/mednaffe.old and Mednaffe ran again. However, it's tedious to have to setup every console again so am trying for another fix.

I also tried other emulators - the Sega Mega Drive for example - the same issue.

All of this happened after I tried the game, Plok! - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plok!. I wonder if somehow the exclamation mark messed up something?

I tried to get Mednaffe to work again by deleting the old .config/mednaffe file. I added all the roms folders, ran a game, the game loaded fine with sound. I clicked a keyboard or joypad button and the game immediately closes. I even tried a fresh Flatpak Mednaffe setup -- the exact same issue happens.

The problem was '~/.mednafen/mednafen.cfg'. I renamed the old config file and ran Mednaffe -- all looks good.
