I it possible to kill a tty or find which tty is being using by which process?

i often have several terminals open and i don;t want to kill the wrong proccess in the wrong tty

pstree is your friend in these situations..

pstree just shows a line of what processing, it doesn;t tell me what process is to what tty aless i have missed a -prefix
