I installed Nvidia now i got new prob


Ok i installed the driver now when i load my Lindows os instead of going to the usall gui it loads up as follows:

LindowsOS Linux on tty2
Alexander login:

I log in as root
then my pass

now i at the counsole???

But i want ro load Lindows to the gui like before???
Please Hlelp!!!!!

edit the file:
/etc/inittab
and change the line that reads ::
id:3:initdefault:
to read ::
id:5:initdefault:

now if your machine is actually failing to boot to X because of an error with the nvidia drivers, then you may notice that the number i told you to change is already 5, so then in turn your going to have to tell us what error your getting when X is trying to start...

OK i didnt edit at all before

it was at 2 when i checked it out.
What command do i use to edit this file in console??
i tried init 1,2, 3,5 etc and sometimes system hangs..?

no error but screen flickers or turns on and off before

it flickers and then goes to this console so how i check for errors
