I have a spare box sitting around, what should i do with it?

Hey folks,
    This is my fist post in this site and i'm 5 minutes new. So i have this extra box just sitting around taking up space. Its a 500? mhz p-whatever with 64 megs of ram, i have a couple hds around, 2gig, 5 gig and 10gig and a nic. What do i do with it? I was thinking about making a jukebox out of it but wouldn't know where to start. If anyone has ideas throw them my way or post them.

Hey snipersock, welcome to LQ.

I can only answer your question with this question: What do you want to do?

A 500 MHz processor will still do quite a bit. It just depends on what you want/need. And if you don't have an answer to that question, then donate it to your local school. I'm sure someone there will know what to do with it ;-)

I'm looking toward a jukebox or something. Would it be difficult to setup a machine as a jukebox? I saw somewhere these little fm transmitters that send audio out to some fm channel.
In my mind it would be pretty cool to have a stand alone machine running xmms or something with a web based interface and remote control access send out via fm radio to my home entertainment center. Looks like i answered my question.
