I got a question


i have a hard drived partitioned so half id fat32(windows xp) other is ext3 (red hat linux 9). i was wondering if theres a way to acces my windows partition from linux, if there is what software is it or whatever? thnx

mount -t fat32 /dev/hda# /mnt/windows

replace # with the appropriate number of the partition. This will mount your fat32 partition in /mnt/windows.


To mount at startup:
/dev/hda# /mnt/windows vfat auto,defaults,umask=000 0 0

(replace # with appropriate number)
