I don't want emacs to run as a window!

When I'm in Xorg, (KDE), and I open a konsole, and type out emacs, it runs as a external window as xemacs... how can I prevent emacs from running as a window, and force it to run in the konsole just like it would in a tty?

$emacs -nw filename
Always read the manual first as mentioend above.
