Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

GRUB was dual booting RH Linux and Win 98.
I read it some where and did "fdisk/mbr" in Win98.
Now how can I restore GRUB without reinstalling Linux?
I dont have a bootable floppy disk.
I only have installation cds, version 7.2.
Please let me know installing GRUB again with my previous configuration.
You should be able to boot your Linux installation from the installation CD. The command line is probably something along the lines of rescue root=/whatever/your/root/device/is.
Installation CD booted in rescue mode and mounted the file system of my hda in /mnt/sysimage.
That means my hard disks' root ( / ) is mounted on /mnt/sysimage/.
I did the following:
$ /mnt/sysimage/sbin/grub/grub-install /dev/hda
as my original "/sbin/grub/" is now equal to /mnt/sysimage/sbin/grub.
But it gave an error message:
/sbin/grub: Not Found
