I cant get knoppix to boot from cd

i burned knoppix about 5 times into a cd and it simply wont boot. I set the bios to boot from cd but it still does not work. I tried a FC3 disk 1 and it booted, i got eh fc3 from a friend. im using nero and sonic record but i dont know wht im doing wrong, any tips on how i can burn the thing properly onto the cd?

Have you burnt it properly? That is, have you explicitely selected the "Burn image" option? Because this is the most frequent cause of CD-boot failure. If you burnt it as a regular file it won't work for sure.

You can use something called ISO Recorder, it's free. Do a Google search for it and it will have a web page where you can download this. It worked for me.
