I can't find gnome.h in my /usr/include

hi,
I don't have file gnome.h in /usr/Include and my distibution is suse 10.2
Do I should download it from where or I should make it with a instruction?
if I should downlaod it ,please say me it's address because I didn't find it in Internet.

You need to install development packages for gnome. Search for libgnome*-devel. There are lots of them. I don't actually know which one includes gnome.h. I read somewhere that libgnomeui-devel is enough, however, it did not work for me.

Actually it might be in some other place. On my Centos it's in:
/usr/include/libgnomeui-2.0/gnome.h

It means you'll have to edit the make file to direct it to gnome.h (at least that's what I think you need to do

)

I really doubt transferring single header files from one system to another will solve your problem. As I said before, try installing libgnomeui-devel or search for all libgnomeui* packages and install them. Then try to find where your gnome.h is:

1. Find all available libgnomeui* packages (I have never used suse, but yast probably has a nice gui with the option to search available packages)
2. Install it and and try to find it with the 'find' command.

Then post the results.
