Hi,
I try to watch TV on my PC with m3u or m3u8 files without succes.
So, yesterday I pst from VLC 2.2.6 to VLC 3.0.1, without improvment.
The error message is "Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://servergates.net:8080/live/agrocom14/ocEt9htqR2/37374.ts'. Check the log for details."
Have somebody meet yet this issue ?
What is the problem, and is there yet a solution ?
Thanks !
bilbiten, in VLC, open the Messages window and increase verbosity to "1 (warning)", then try to reproduce the error. that's the log. read it, try to understand it, copy-paste it here.

I had a similar issue many times, whenever I try to play a video on my Antix Linux system, that crashes every time. At first, I thought it is an error or bug with VLC, but When I switched to another Linux distro, I noticed that the problem is just gone. So I suggest switching to a better and stable distro. If you want to read more about it then check out this post
