I am not able to install Fedora Core 4 on my System....Please Help me....

Please tell me Why i am not able to install Fedora Core 4 on my system.

Some Problem area that i have faced while going to install FC4
(i have mentioned them with Approximation)

1. page_thread_helper()
2. Generic Video Adapter---means -- it is not able to start X server due to some Display Adapter side probles.



I hope you will send me the correct suggestion.

1st FC4 is no longer supported(no more updates). Support for FC5 will be dropped when FC7 comes out (April?.) Why not install FC6?

My best guess (to start with) is that you are running sata drives. Mainline support (in most cases) for sata is first found on the FC6 respin disks (not the regular FC6 disks)due to kernel support of sata starting 2.6.18(?).

As to noted problems.

1. When does it give you this error?

2. You should be able to start X with just about any video chipset if you use the Vesa driver.
