I've lost my KDE menus!

For some strange reason my KDE menus have disappeared from my root account. It is still accessable from the various users accounts and I'm pretty sure it was there before. It must be down to a configuration file or settings.

Anybody have any ideas?

Yes. I even renamed it to something else to force it to recreate the directory on firing up the desktop.
