I'm having a terrible time installing AMSN
I thought I had all the program dependencys down, I thought I used all the correct commands, but for whatever reason I'm doing something wrong. If anyone has experience with this program, 1000 thanks to they who can help me navigate out of the sea of confusion, I've been so deftly placed.

well, first tell me what version of version of amsn you are running, and the distro you chose.
(now comes the guess part)
u should most likely "build" it from source, download the .tar.gz source tarbal and extract it (tar -zxf amsn-xxxx).
then go to the directory and type "./configure"
next "make"
next "make install"
if this does not work try to paste the output here so we can look at what it the problem.

Amsn is written in tcl, it doesn't need to be compiled. All you need to do is download it, untar it, and then go to that directory and run it.
