Question I'm a big newbie to Linux

Hello,
I'm a to Linux and I didn't install my distro yet. It's a Boxed Copy of RedHat Linux 7. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have my ethernet card drivers nor any PPPoE support. Also, I have no idea on how to compile anything. My ethernet card is a D-Link DFE-530TX+ and I have a Ethernet DSL Modem that needs PPPoE software to connect. Thanks

um...I'm not trying to be deliberately unhelpful here, but I'm not sure what question you're asking. If you think that there might be a hardware problem, can you give better information on your hardware? I would suggest that you load it, and then try to fix any problems that come up.
Sorry if this sounds like an ultimately unhelpful reply.
