I'd like to have a local repository of Debian Sarge packages on my drive

Here's the scenerio. I have a laptop that doesn't have network/internet access. I have other PCs that do. I have a USB drive that I can share among them.

I would like to have a local copy of the Debian/Sarge packages on the USB drive that I can use with apt-get.

I've been downloading packages in chunks, a few at a time.

Is this possible? If so how?

You might have a look at APT Mirror: http://apt-mirror.sourceforge.net/

You might also want to form an alliance with all the people here who continue to ask for Redhat 9 support. You could call it the "Living in the Past Club."
