Hyperterminal for linux

Is there a hyperterminal for linux so that I can transfer files from one PC to another using just a single phone line?

Is there a gui package?

Try minicom. It's not GUI but it's easy, I use it to mess with stuff over Bluetooth the config is in ncurses it is a GUI, just looks like a CLI.

Okay I'm interested on minicom. How will I be able to use it? I once tried to connect my phone on my laptop using GPRS. However after inputting the AT commands, I see the GPRS logo on my phone but I cannot browse any site. I also can't ping anything. Have you encountered that before?

Not personally but I know what to do and I told you in your original thread regarding this problem. Not repeating myself, look here.

I'm sorry for double threading. I've given up last week on that thing. I don't even know how to configure wvdial. It's not that important anyway. I'm looking for a hyperterminal which is gui so I won't have to deal with CLI anymore. Just to make things easier for me. I just wish there is some package that looks like the hyperterminal. Hyperterminal is very easy to use especially if you're just going to dial in to another user and send a file. Works well on me.
