Hydrogen and Ardour Problem
 

Hello everyone,

I am having a problem with Hydrogen and Ardour. They are installed and there is no errors or failed dependancies. When i go to open either program it just tries and gives the hour glass and then disappears. I guess that would be a linux crash. Did anyone ever run into this or know how i can correct it. O yea i am using an up to date suse 9.1 personal version. Also it does the same thing when i run it as root.

I'm going to guess that it has something to do with JACK, but I'd recommend you launch the applications from a terminal so you can see what errors occur.

yea your right about jack,,,i reinstalled it and still the same thing so i am going to search for another build of libjack.

ardour: error while loading shared libraries: libjack.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
