Question huh?? mozilla / thunderbird


what is thunderbird?? and how is it different then mozilla. i am confused which one should i use?? and what is gcc 2.9 build. please help

hi
mozilla is web browser with integrated mail client and other stuff.
there is also firebird, which is just a web browser (used as main engine in mozilla) and thunderbird, which is mail client. so if you don't want one huge application, you might preffer using firebird + thunderbird.

gcc 2.9 build means, that the binary package is compiled with gcc version 2.9
