HUGE fonts
I installed the newest version of KDE today, and I am very happy to have done so, if there weren't some smaller problems. The most boring one is that my Fonts look completely jumbled.
Look for yourself: screenshot. This is running 1400x1050 and every window is f*cking huge. I think it's got something to do with the font settings, since I remember that I've done something to the font settings back when I first installed Linux on my Notebook, but I just can't remember what... it had something to do with the X11 settings (?!?!?) Can anyone help me? |
I solved this problem by editing /opt/kde/share/config/kdm/kdmrc
The fourth paragraph from the end contains a line like this: ServerCmd=/usr/X11R6/bin/X Change this to: ServerCmd=/usr/X11R6/bin/X -dpi 75 Should look ok now. |
