Unhappy problem with httpd, need help

hi,

I am using Red Hat Linux-9 on which I am hosting squirrelmail, proxy server (apache web server) and the qmail. The httpd daemon initially I was using was the httpd-2.0.40-21 Somehow the httpd daemon started dying frquently and needed restart for the proxy and the squirrelmail to work properly. After this problem I upgraded it to httpd-2.0.40-21.11. Now also the httpd keeps on dying but the occurance is much less compared to the previous daemon and still needs restart for proxy and squirrelmail services to work properly.

I am unable to trace the basic cause of this happening.

What could be the reason for this and how should i rectify it?

As I am hosting proxy server and the squirrelmail and qmail on this system, so these services are very much crucial for me.

Desperately needs help to sort it out. thanks in advance.

the messages from /var/log/httpd/error_log are

[Thu Sep 16 10:19:21 2004] [error] [client xx.xx.xx.xx] unable to include potential exec "include/bottom.html" in parsed file /var/www/error/HTTP_UNAUTHORIZED.html.var
