http servers in evolution
 
windows live have started using an http delivery system, i know this because on my win xp install i downloaded windows live mail and it told me XD, just wondering how i can use the server it uses in evolution, http doesnt seem to be an option anywhere

True- http is not an option on any pop-mail client to my knowledge. FWIW, I was still using win98/outlook when ms discontinued support for pop clients on free hotmail accounts. However, it was still available for premium (paid) accounts. Also, on Ubuntu/Firefox, I get "You are viewing the original version of Live Mail. The full version only supports Windows."

IOW, unless you have a paid account, you're most likely stuck using the browser to view whatever ms will allow.
