HTML editor for linux
 
Is there anything for linux simialar to dreamweaver? If so or if not, what is a good program for building/editing websites?

This I think has been asked several times in the past few days. Try searching the facilities here, you should come up with probably the three most popular answers:

Bluefish or Quanta while in X or just plain'ol vi editor, maybe a few that prefer emacs though too while from a CLI.

i found this neat little program today surfing the web: jEdit.
it is a java program so you can run it on any platform. install is simple.
