ok then, i'm looking for a linux program, with the html editing capability of ms frontpage. i was told to use lx frontpage, but was unable to locate that program.... could anyone name, or point me in the direction of, a quality html editor?

Search www.freshmeat.net for HTML editors, I personally use quanta and blue fish, and I am not an HTML geek, but they work for me

I have been running Quanta for a year, it rocks. Project management, preview browser and FTP client are built in.

Simply rockin'.

You could also try using the Syntax Highlighting editor "Moleskine".

my wife uses quanta. seems to like it. i use vi :)
