.htaccess domain / url forwarding

is that possible to make domain or url forwarding with .htaccess andHide Destination URL as case below

http://demo.com -> http://demo.myportal.com
http://demo.com/files -> http://demo.myportal.com/files

meanwhile the address shown on browser still showing 'http://demo.com/files' not 'http://demo.myportal.com/files'
