I'm using a HP970cxi printer at Suse 7.0.
The printer works properly for text, but colored images like photos are printed in a horrible resolution. Every single dor is visible.
Does somebody know about this problem - and maybe also the trick to solve it ??

I have about the same problem with my 895Cse, BW works great, but Color does not. Changing resolution from 600 to 300dpi doesn't work either. I just told YaST2 to configure the printer to print in BW only so that it does not try to print in color.

I'd try using a lower quality driver for the 600 series to get the color working, but I don't want to mess with it, I'll just wait for updates.
