Stopping cups
I got the scanning to work with my printer but cups ties it up and makes it appear as the printer is in use..so ineed to stop it...but hwne i do /etc/init.d/cupsd stop i just get !! and the only way i have found to stop it is killall -9 cupsd...then start the scanner driver...now is the reason im' getting the !! because the way i start it? i have it somewhere start up when the system boots, i jsut can't find where...or what? i'd really like to get this fixed. thanks guys.
