howto notify delivery of sent messages in thunderbird version 1.0.7-1.1.fc3 (20050929


hi,
i d like to turn on a feature wherein i d like to receive an automatic confirmation email on receipt of an email sent by me...can anyone help me out with it...

Menubar-->Edit-->Preferences-->Composition-->Return Receipts

Please note if the recieving party does not have return receipts active as in;
Never send a return receipt (active), then you will not get one from the recieving party.
