HowTo for setting up VMware to run XP


Does anyone know of any good howtos or write ups for setting up VMware to run XP?

What kind of advice are you after? Are you having specific problems? XP generally runs just fine off the bat.

tis true. you just start up vmware, tell it you want to make a new virtual machine that's going to run XP, then you just insert an xp disk or select an iso of one you have on your hard drive. from then on its the same ol' xp installation process..

Is there a non commercial version of vmware for FC7 or is the one at www.vmware.com/download/server it?

VMWare Server is free. ESX and Workstation you have to purchase.
