how to implement a simple file system for linux

hi i am kneenly interested in how to implement a simple file system.

i also want to what code should i know

Well it's based around the unix inode system. Search for it on google and you'll find a whole heap of info. I once created a filesystem in java...that was different Mine was half based on FAT and half on inodes. An interesting system to say the least!
