Unhappy how to use yum


hi
I have instyalled yum in my fc4 system.Is it possible to install software from repository that is available in the internet,if so can any one tell me some available repository and what is the command to get from it.

well that's exactly what yum is for, installing software directly from in the internetr and resolving all dependencies upon it. check the yum entry in our wiki for details about it's use.

But when I entered yum update I get this message

AttributeError: DummyYumPlugins instance has no attribute 'setCmdLine'
what could i do

# yum clean all

then retry
