Post how to use Yum


I want to know the procedure of how one can use yum!!!
i have fc3 installed.

There is a great site covering this and other Fedora issues at:

There also is a graphical user interface for yum. It is called yumex and can be installed using yum. Add the repositories as described under the link and then, as root, type

# yum install yumex

The start yumex

# yumex

and you can do things graphically.
