how to use regedit under wine
 

Hello everyone

Im attempting to get the Perfect World game to run under wine.
The instructions for installing say to use regedit to edit the wine windows registry to add
some entries.

I dont know where to use the regedit command in wine?
the thread does not explain this part.
I have looked under the wine config menu and did not find anything.

Im running Ubuntu 10.04 and wine 1.2

I just got this to work.

Open a terminal window.

Change directory to $HOME/.wine//drive_c/windows

Run regedit as follows:
The registry editor window will appear.

the exact same way you would have if this was Windows XP

thanks, i dont have a problem using regedit in windows, i just didnt know how to access it under wine.
