How to use HAL
 
I am running Mandriva 2007 through MS Virtual PC. I'm trying to use DVD-ROM drive, but it tells me "Feature only available with HAL". I enabled the haldaemon and still get the message. Is there any configurations that I need to set and how do I set them? Thanks for any help.
