How To Use Firejail With Mint

I seemingly installed Firejail with the command line, and have it in my files, but am unsure how to use it. Do you have to firejail individual programs with the command line? How do you check if it's working properly?

-Much appreciation,
and sincerely a new Linux fan for life.
