how to upgrade from glibc 2.2.4 to 2.3.x

hi!

I have a package which requires glibc 2.3 for it's installation. I use RH 7.2 which uses glibc2.2.4. how to upgrade this to 2.3 version? when i tried to install this new version of glibc it had asked many dependencies which goes in loop :( i got some suggestions that upgrading this doesn't help because it'll touch the kernel too.... but if i upgrade the kernel also the other packages won't work itseems.. is that true? what is the solution for this? should i have separate OS, that's what my previous question :)

anyone has come across this problem? please help me....

RH 7.2?....
Go download or buy a newer version of redhat and install it. Otherwise your going to find yourself slowly upgrading the whole thing piece by piece.
If you do a google search you can find places that'll sell you redhat for 1-4$
