How to Update Video Driver

I want to update my video driver and enhance my video experience. I got Ubuntu 7.10 and I got an Intel 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device. How do I update this integreted video card?

Also, how can I further tweak my video settings optimally?

Those drivers for your vidcard are integrated into the X (version 7.3 and above) server, so in order to upgrade the drivers, you must upgrade the whole X server.

As for the tweaks, I'm not aware of any program that will allow overclocking on that vidcard, but I quite doubt there is any.

I think what he means is gl acceleration enabled. Well run:
glxinfo | grep direct
and it should output:
direct rendering: Yes
That's the main 'optimization' here. Read 'man intel' for more options (yes, run 'man intel' and then read it).

H_TeXMeX_H, thanks for the tip. So, would I have to run xserver-xorg? IS that where I can tinker with the video settings?
