How to Uninstall RPM Package


GOOD DAY ALL:
I have installed VSFTPD FTP by using RPM,but i want to uninstall it now.Please advise how to do it.

hi

use

$ rpm -qa|grep package_name

u will get the rpm including with the version installed

$ rpm -e vsftpd.XXX

#rpm -e vsftpd
This will just work fine. You don't usually have to type the full package name and version when uninstalling it.
