How to uninstall RH9

Hai

Recently I did a dual boot on my XP system with RH9 and everything went well for some time. Later had some problems with XP activation and was not able to log into XP as it got deactivated. So when I tried installing XP it gives me system termination error with unmountable disk error. I tried removing the linux partitions with disk manager utilities but still not able to install XP. I am able to install linux but not XP.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am starting to love linux but can't leave XP right away. Can some one suggest me the complete procedure to remove RH9 from MBR and HDD.

Thanks,
kk.

Start a DOS command (a DOS bootable floppy) and enter:

fdisk /mbr

To restore the original master boot record of your main active hard disk. Then, launch the XP installation. When the partitions selection screen comes, remove the Linux partition (select it, and press the S key) and then create another partition (with the C key).

That should work.
