how to uninstall openoffice1.5
 

1.I have RHEL4.0. When in installed OS it loaded openoffice1.5. After this i have installed openoffice2.3.1. NOw i can see both open office versions. How to uninstall old one(1.5). I tried thru addremove packages, but failed.

I have one more problem. I am unable to set default page in printer configuration. I am using EPSON 136 column dotmatrix printer. We use 12X10 page and 15X12 page lengths. If I put page format as 12X8.5 it is not forwarding the page exactly at perferation. Guide me anybody pleeeese.

You don't say how you installed the later version. Try uninstalling from the command line

First

yum list installed openoffice*

Hopefully it will give you version 1.5

then you can remove with

yum remove openoffice
Hopefuly this won't break the newer installation
