I'm a new user of Linux. Recently I install Fedora Core 1 into my AMD-based PC. It is running fine but then I decided to install Windows XP and probably install Fedora later (i.e dual boot).
Right now I only have one partition which is for Fedora only.
well the bios isn't connected with the OS. To get into it usually you have to hold down a key or key combination while it loads. But it various from pc to pc. On mine i have to hold down the del key while it loads. Check out the documentation that came with your pc if you still have it, or check online for your model.
Thanks for your help so far, the xp cd is burned and when I tried it in my other computer (running win XP) IT did not boot from the cd. Any ideas on how I can run the XP setup without booting from the cd, or a way to force it to boot the cd? Thanks again
