HOW TO UNINSTALL DCOM95.exe ???

Hi,

I was trying to install IE Ver 5. using the instructions on http://frankscorner.org/explorer_5_0.html

All instructions executed correctly until I came to the line reg running DCOM95.exe.

An error message pops up:

"A newer version of DCOM95 had been installed. To overide, you must uninstall the current version first "

How should I uninstall DCOM95 ?

Would greatly appreciate your help. All other instructions were executing alright until I came to this point.

well this is the only way i can think of and your going to have to run this uninstaller through wine, so give this a shot:
go to your fake win drive located at /home/user/.wine/c/
and go into the windows/system/dcom95/oldole folder and type
wine uninstal.exe
and thats the only way i can think of, so good luck

The directory windows/system/dcom95 does not unfortunately
exist :-(

does the directory /windows/system/dcom98 exist?
if not, then something is getting tripped up somewheres, cause thats where it gets installed to, and thats where it exists and only exists...
