How to uninstall and reinstall Redhat 7.1?
Hello,
I installed Rh7.1 and it works fine till this morning. I think trouble is caused when I configured my sound card. I used "rpm -ivh sndconfig-0.64.8-1.i386.rpm", and it died, nothing was active at that time. I had to turn off power and reboot. At that time it works fine. I used that command again, and it woked without any warning except it said "/etc/modules.conf" is already exist and save it as "/etc/modules.conf.bak". Then sound card works. But whenever I tried to open GNOME configuration tool, it has error"Application 'gnomecc..crash due to fatal error (segmentation fault)'". Can anyone help me with this? If I uninstall linux and reinstall it again, does that work? If I chooose to do that, what should I do? Does Linux has uninstall function like Windows? Thanks for youe help! Jane |
Never mind. I reboot the computer and everything works fine now. But thanks for your interest.
